
Car umeboshi onigiri with fish fillet, okra ohitashi, croqutte, and fruit.
The weather is still too hot and this was my best attempt at making a bento without cooking. The croquette and okra ohitashi are both frozen food items. The fish fillet was left over from yesterday's dinner from a restaurant. I just stuck it in the toaster oven this morning to reheat it. Bento also includes blueberries on a pick and a strawberry.
Although it's still hot the weather seems to be letting up a bit. Hoping for the cool down to start really soon. The only perk about this heat is that my husband isn't encouraging cooking at home since it heats up the house too much so we are eating out a lot. The downside is that it gets to be a bit hard on the wallet...
