Bunny Sandwiches

This bento looks washed out due to the flash. I think they were ham sandwiches with American cheese and strawberries to the right. I also have honey roasted almonds in the green cup which my duaghter loves and is very filling.

Star Sandwich Bento

Salami and swiss cheese sandwich stars with kiwi fruit.

Back from a short hiatus -- parents visiting, husband away on business trip = lotts and lotts of chaos with kids running amuck. The picture didn't come out that great since I took the photo. I think I was yelling at my kids to turn off the TV and get their shoes on while I rushed outside to snap this.

Although my daughter's school is located near our house, I am still getting used to the idea of leaving the house almost an hour earlier than before.

My daughter is adjusting fine to the English school and likes it much better than her Japanese preschool. I was surprised to learn, however,  that she must be placed in an ESL class since her English ability is not up to par...

Parents Visiting

Sorry for the lack of updates...

My folks have been visiting from Japan this past week and I have been experiencing carb overload from all my mom's cooking. It's been great, but leaves me lethargic and lazy.  Which leads to bento making (barely), but no pictures nor updates...

BUT...the husband has posted something on his website which doesn't have anything to do with code!

Hen and Chick Bento

Another request for sandwich by the girl. Got the same reqeust for the cream cheese/salmon and cream cheese/jam plus a vegetable she can dip.

I'm wondering if this is all I am going to make for her while she is attending this school...

Maybe I'll change it up a bit next week...
